Stausacker Volunteer Fire Department, with St. Florian Painting

Stausacker, Germany

Stausacker is a village across the Danube from Weltenberg Abbey, in Germany's Kelheim District. The village fire hall features an image of St. Florian using his bucket to extinguish a building fire. This is the usual way of portraying Florian, as he is the patron saint of firemen.
